1. What do I need in a truck?
Because Montana 5th wheels are lighter than most luxury 5th wheels (9765# - 11,650#) a heavy duty ¾ ton or 1 ton truck will fill the bill. Diesel engines are the engines of choice but a big V-8 gas engine will suffice.

2. How are the Montanas framed?
Aluminum studding, aluminum floor joists and pre-fabbed 5" arched steel trussed rafters give a Montana a 100% metal structure.

3. What brand tires are used?
For many years we had Mission Tires but now the new Montanas are using Goodyear Tires.

4. What is the suspension?
Montana uses a rubberized Mor/ryde Suspension which minimizes road shock.

5. What are the capacities?
The new Montanas will feature 110 gallons grey water, 55 gallons black water, 12 gallon water heater and 62 gallon fresh water tank.

6. How cold can it be and still be comfortable in a Montana?
Montana has been tested at 0 degrees. The tanks and valves did not freeze and inside temperature ranged from 69 – 71 degrees.

7. Is the fireplace practical?
Yes, it is. Besides its beauty when operating, it will give out 5,000 BTU's of heat for those frosty mornings.

8. How do they tow?
Towing is excellent due to the Mor/ryde suspension, aerodynamics and better weight distribution.

9. What is the mirror for on the front cap?
It helps you line up the hitch pin to the hitch. The top to bottom and side to side curvature of the front cap also helps when towing with a short box truck.
